It’s been a bit over a month since I started this blog. With all this talk over blogging daily and the anticipation of people updating their blogs (Mawson and Jero), I started to think about why I started blogging, and what I really wanted to achieve by spilling my few thoughts here.

I really wanted this blog to be a bit more than a ‘post stuff about Joseph’s dull life’ or ‘post random stuff from the internet’. I wanted to explore my mind, to understand my logic and reasoning and opinions. A social commentary of sorts. I don’t know whether it’s been due to a laziness, or simply a lack of thought, but I have not achieved this yet. Or maybe it’s chronic Lee syndrome.

As for blogging everyday – from the outset it was an impossible task (for me at least). Since the start I’ve been (subconsciously) aiming for a post every 2 days (which I have done on average), but with the ever increasing pile of work it seems to be becoming harder. This is probably the most active attempt of keeping to something that I have done since year 9, and I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I go through these periods after doing something for a while where I simply lose the thrill of it; a sort of arduousness that seeps in. I haven’t had that here yet, but I feel it is only a matter of time.

To those that read or comment on this blog – thank you for taking the time out of your day to read or respond to my bored ramblings. To those that blog – thanks for continually inspiring and entertaining me. To those yet to blog – hey, it’s never too late to start. :)

  2. make that comment 170 my friend. Congratulations on the milestone. Imagine, in a year….

Don’t lose heart, however much blogging drains you (and work). You’ll get “there” one way or another.

  8. i enjoyed the blog. I understand the train rides, I wish I could count how many hours I’ve spent on a train, but I don’t think my trips no where close to as long as yours.

Doesn’t matter, almost at the end. Keep blogging please.

    • Cheers. Didn’t know Hans personally, but stumbled onto the site a few months back via James.

Plus, there’s that huge banner in the muck-up photo in the yearbook. XD (the .co.cc one which leads to a now defunct site :P )
