The HSC Half-Time Show
Ladies and gentlemen, good evening! As my printer warms up to print a fresh set of past papers and notes, I thought I would put thoughts to keyboard as we approach the end of the second week of the 2009 Higher School Certificate.
For those of you playing at home, here are just some of the highlights:
English Standard/Advanced – Paper 1:
- Q2: The best creative writing story ever. Hands down.
- Q3: BOS pulls a funny, and specifies ONE related text only. Madness ensues.
…and the rest is pretty bland, so it ends there.
Not too happy with today, panicked when things started to go a bit awry and mind clouded up. Yay for awesome maths scaling!
I’m starting to feel like a vegetable. Or a zombie. I feel almost devoid of all emotion as I sit staring at these pages. Oh well, 1 week left. Then plenty of time to waste and ‘enjoy life’. For now.
4 days (+1) to study for 3 exams. This is it. This is home stretch – make or break. Why are you reading this? Wait, why am I writing this?
This is my desk pre-[T3]holidays (I will upload the full final assembly vid after HSC):

And here it is pre-HSC:

Look at how happy the ram is!
Anyway, keep working hard, and good luck! Ruse09 represent! 99 ATAR baby! (although I’m probably going to get 97ish because my English scales like crap D:)
Edit: Wow, this post really sucks. Sorry if you sat through it.
